Reading Challenge
Following the universal recommendation of 30 minutes per day of reading time, children and tweens will track reading minutes.
Children/Tweens
Teens
The teen reading challenge will consist of a Book Genre Bingo.
Adults
The adult reading challenge will consist of a Book Genre Bingo.
Prizes
For Ages 0–12:
Children will use a reading tracker to log the number of minutes they read. Prizes and entries will be awarded at the following milestones:

At Sign-Up – Receive a prize entry and a brag tag.

600 Minutes – Earn another prize entry and brag tag.

1200 Minutes – Earn another prize entry and brag tag.

1800 Minutes – Earn a final prize entry and brag tag.
The reading tracker also includes fun activity suggestions. Completing these activities will earn additional prize entries.
Participants can also earn prize entries by attending special summer library events throughout the season.

Teens receive a grand prize entry for every BINGO completed. Grand prise entries will also be received for additional participation throught the summer such as event participation, etc.

Adults will receive a grand prize entry for every BINGO completed.
